Oconto is the County Seat, we have a community theater, radio station, airport, industries, businesses, Oconto City Hall, with Police and full time Fire Department.

Located in the Northeastern corner of Wisconsin, Oconto lies on the spectacular shores of the Bay of Green Bay. With a population of 4,621, Oconto is just a quick 30 minute drive north of the bustling city of Green Bay.

Oconto is considered by many to be the start of the true Wisconsin Northwoods, but still has access to amenities of larger cities. The county seat for Oconto County, Oconto maintains strong economic and social ties to its neighboring towns and cities including Little River, Oconto Falls, Lena, and Peshtigo.

Comprised of roughly 35 square blocks, Oconto’s north and south sides are separated by the beautiful Oconto River.
