Youth Football Looking for More Players
Oconto Youth Football is still looking for more First, Second, and Third Graders to sign-up for the 2021 Flag Football Season. Boys or Girls in these three grades are eligible to play.
We will have the following nights for sign-ups:
- Monday, August 30th – 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- Tuesday, August 31st – 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- Thursday, September 2nd – 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm
If we still don’t have enough players signed up at that time, then we will have a night to give refunds to the people who have already signed up.

New Kayak/Canoe Launch & Floating Fishing Pier at City Docks!!
The new Kayak/Canoe Launch and the new Floating Fishing Pier are in at the City Docks and ready for use! The Kayak/Canoe Launch was made possible by a grant from the Leon H. & Clymene M. Bond Foundation. The Floating Fishing Pier was made possible by a grant from the K.C. Stock Foundation and a donation from the old Industrial Fund.

Construction Update 8-24-2021
Oconto Breakwater Park & Boat Ramp including Harbor Rd will close at 9:00 p.m. Sunday night August 29th and will re-open Friday September 3rd early evening due to blacktopping preparations. Once paving is complete, the road will be open to the public including Splinter Causeway.
Residents living on Bayshore Rd will have to use Cty Rd Y from Bayshore Rd when trying to gain access into the city.
Residents living on Harbor Rd can still utilize Harbor Rd for access but please try to keep your distance from the grading and paving crews.
The Dockside Restaurant will be open to customers, and they may use BayShore Rd to access the restaurant.
