The City of Oconto is pleased to announce that on July 29, 30 and 31, Oconto youth and adults will have the chance to experience fast-track sailing instruction at no cost to the participant! New sailors will be at the helm of their own boat in a very short time and gaining experiences as they sail from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day at the Oconto Harbor.
International Youth Sailing of Oshkosh will bring their broad-scale, fast-start community sailing program to Oconto with the goal of getting everyone who’s ever wanted to experience sailing the chance to do so. They will have various fleets for youth and adult sail boats in the water from sailors ages 7 years old to adult. All boats, safety gear, supervision and instruction will be provided free of charge!
