Santa Visit and Christmas Parade – December 5
Don’t forget – Santa will be visting City Hall this Saturday, December 5, from 2:00 to 3:30! Kids can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies and write a letter to Santa and make ornaments for the City Hall Christmas Tree while they wait.
Also this Saturday is the Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade starting at 6:00 p.m. The parade will begin at Park Avenue and go down Main Street to Michigan Avenue.

Spring 2016 Election Information
December 1, 2015 is the first day that nomination papers can be picked up at City Hall for anyone interested in running for municipal office in the Spring 2016 election. Offices on the ballot will include Municipal Judge, Mayor and 4 Alderperson-at-Large seats. Nomination papers with 50-100 signatures must be turned in by January 5, 2016 in order to have a name placed on the ballot for the election.
