In-Person Absentee Voting begins today!
To early vote in-person, come to City Hall between now and Thursday, April 2nd from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Please be sure to bring a valid photo ID to be allowed to vote.

— GARBAGE PICKUP:
– Please place your bins by your driveway entrance, and NOT on top of snowbanks. The crews will not be able to reach them.
– Pickup normally on Monday will now be on Wednesday.
– Pickup normally on Tuesday will now be on Thursday.
— SNOW SIDEWALK REMOVAL ORDINANCE:
– The City of Oconto will NOT be enforcing the sidewalk snow removal ordinance due to the large amount of heavy snow that was received in a short period of time. We ask that you please work on clearing them when you can. Public Works crews will try to open up corners when they have time. There is a lot of snow removal the will still need to be doing in the next couple days.
— SNOW CLEANUP AND REMOVAL:
– Public Works crews will be in tonight at midnight to start clearing snow from the downtown business and other areas. Please be patient with the removal process as crews have been working around the clock since Sunday morning to make our roads safe and drivable.
A huge thank you to all the individuals responsible for the amazing safety efforts taken during Blizzard Elsa. She was a storm like most of us have never seen in our lifetimes, crews did an excellent job mitigating the effects.
