The City of Oconto, in conjunction with Oconto County, will be reopening all city-owned boat launches effective Friday, April 24, 2020. While we understand that there are still valid concerns about COVID-19, we also understand that outdoor activities like fishing are being encouraged. We are asking that users of the launches follow social distancing guidelines and take all precautions to avoid the possible spread of the virus. We will have Harbor Masters on duty at Breakwater Park to assist in enforcing the social distancing and other precautions. If these requirements are not met, then the launches may be closed again.
