You may have noticed the large number of boats at both the Oconto Harbor and City Docks this weekend. It wasn’t a fishing tournament (as some have asked) – it was simply fishermen and others out enjoying the beautiful weather and plentiful fish that our water has to offer! There were 139 individual boat launches, from as far away as South Dakota, between Saturday and Sunday, as well as additional launches from those who have purchased season launch passes. We are thrilled to see so many people enjoying one of the City’s best assets!
