City of Oconto Recycling Center

The City of Oconto will be re-opening its recycling center starting Wednesday April 22nd. The center will continue to be closed on Saturdays until further notice. The Center will follow all social distancing rules and will allow only a maximum of 7 people in the center at a time. An attendant will be on hand to make sure these rules are followed and to collect any money for chargeable items, we are asking that you please bring the correct amount of money for those items. If the rules above are not followed and abused, the center will shut down until further notice. For the safety of our residents and visitors, effective at 9:00 p.m. tonight (April 4, 2020), the boat launches at Breakwater Park and City Docks will be closed until further notice. Shore fishing will be allowed as long as the people fishing practice social distancing and stay six feet apart. Thank you

To request an absentee ballot, please complete the attached form and return it, with a photo copy of your driver’s license to City Hall. Applications can be mailed to 1210 Main St, Oconto, WI 54153, or placed in the drop box of the entryway at City Hall.

Alternately, you can go to www.myvote.wi.gov to request your ballot.
