Bird’s 6th Annual Walleye Invitational will take place this Saturday, August 3, from 6 am to 3 pm at Oconto Breakwater Park and Harbor. Good luck to all of the participants!
Youth Football Sign Up
Sign up for 2019 Oconto Youth Football will be held on Wednesday, August 7, Thursday, August 8 and Monday August 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the blue sheds behind Oconto High School. Flag football is for 1st grade through 3rd grade and tackle football is for 4th grade through 6th grade. Tackle players must be with their parent at sign up to be fitted for their gear. Cost is $20 for flag, $40 for tackle and $55 for a family. No player sign-ups after teams are set up. Any questions, call Will at (920)373-1146 or John at (920)604-2521. Sesquicentennial Coin Drawing Winners from Waterfest
The winners of the sesquicentennial coin drawings that were held at Waterfest are Andy Szymanski and Kim Bronikowski! Andy won a patio set, donated by the City of Oconto Tourism Committee, and Kim won a bin of water-related items, donated by Oconto County Economic Development and Tourism. Prizes can be picked up at City Hall!
Sesquicentennial Coin Drawing Winner 0- June 7, 2019
The winner of today’s sesquicentennial coin drawing done at the Copperfest kick-off breakfast is Russ Belongia! Russ wins a signed and framed pair of former Packer player Edgar Bennett playing gloves (donated by Russ and Jean Martin) and a portable cell phone charger and pop socket (donated by Stephenson National Bank). Thank you to all who have purchased a coin and to our donors! The next drawings will be held at Waterfest on July 3. There is still time to purchase your coins from City Hall!

The Oconto Utility Commission will be flushing water mains in all areas south of the Oconto River on Monday, May 20th, 2019.
In all areas north of the Oconto River, West of and including Superior Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21st & 22nd, 2019.
In all areas north of the Oconto River, East of Superior Avenue, on Thursday and Friday May 23rd & 24th, 2019.
Due to certain water main connections, other areas could be affected, please check your water for discoloration before using laundry.

The causeway at Breakwater Park will be closed on Wednesday, May 1 from 6 a.m. to noon for maintenance. We apologize for an inconvenience this may cause.
